2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Wind Noise with ladders

Hi I have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, no sunroof. It came with no cross bars but just side rails. I purchased and installed some Hodenn cross bars, got them from Amazon. They look just like the OEM Mopar ones. With just the cross bars alone there is zero wind noise, even above 70mph. But if I put a 6 foot ladder on them, which I tie down with two ratchet straps the noise is horrible above 40mph. With my previous two vehicles, 2011 Chevy Equinox, and 2002 Chevy Blazer if I position the ladders right then there is zero noise. I plan on putting as many as 3 ladders on this vehicle for work that I do, usually a 10 foot and a 6 foot.

Any suggestions on wind deflectors or a way to position the ladders to reduce or eliminate wind noise?

You can try adjusting the distance between the bars, but mine also tend to be noisy when I put anything long up there.

I was born with nuttin' and I still have most of it
