2011 grand cherokee rack and pinion

Saw my rack and pinion was leaking so I went to replace it but now we can't get it out. We've removed both axles and all 3 bolts mounting the front diff and there's still no room ro remove the old rack. Any suggestions?

On a V6:

Lift and rotate the steering gear so that the steering shaft is forward to clear the oil pan when removing the steering gear through the RH wheel area.

Lift and rotate the steering gear as necessary to remove from behind the knuckle/rotor assembly of the RH wheel area.

On a V8 you probably need to drop the engine cradle crossmember.

I was born with nuttin' and I still have most of it
