Whats the proper abbreviation for the Army? Like USMC, USAF etc. I can't imagine it's USA?! Is it US Army?

It doesnt need to be 4 letters. It just needs to be the proper abbreviation. For example:

SSgt Jake W. Jones, USAF

Cpl Jake W. Jones, USMC

Whats the Army?

I know! Let's abbreviate it United States Standing Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard. Thus, the abbreviation for Army would by 'USSAARANG.'

Hmm... Maybe we should just call it the 'Army.'

Edit: after seeing the below link, the abbreviation for United States Army is USA. Wierd.

Also USA or RA for Regular Army USAR For the Reserves. There are others, for different purposes. Being Army is only for letter using Army as opposed to USA is less confusing.
