Nice...

The KJ wheels look good on your silver KK. It looks unique enough to stand out from the crowd.

Chereveco: how do you like your light bar down at the bottom of the bumper? Does it take damage from rocks on the highway or from people who can’t parallel park without tapping your bumper?

Thanks, passed with a clean sheet...( Not **** lol ), the light bar is a little bit hidden from the border of the bumper, never had issues with it.

But the light bar will be gone in less than 2 months, y have sitting at my sister's in New York 3 led halogens, so the set up will be something similar to the long gone.... But missed XJ... Look the pictures...

P.D. The trip to David, Panama went for 589 miles, no issues, fan did perfect....

1st. One is to refer to the type of halogens to be installed....

Nice! Those are some seriously badass halogens. I believe the Australians call that style "Roo Lights".

One question...

Where are the best options in the frame, etc; to screw the bar to where the halogens are going to be...

Looked for "factory" points like for the hitch in the rear, but couldn't see any....

Most things like bull bars, recovery points, and even steel bumpers use the factory tow hook locations. If you could bolt your light support bar there, it would be solid. Here is a photo from my Jeep when I installed a recovery system made by AtTheHelm. I had the bumper off but you can see where it attaches. The tow hook holes are under the crossmember, but the bolts going through the front of the crossmember I drilled, if I remember correctly.

With the bumper skin on, for context.

A clunking and rattling sound turned out to be a rusted-through exhaust pipe. The resonator broke loose! So today I got it replaced.

While I was down there I noticed my spare tire was installed upside down from the way I like it.

This orientation leaves the polished side of the rim open to damage from the road or trail. Also, the spare tire hanger can mar the surface where the center cap goes.

Luckily, no damage to speak of.

I reinstalled it properly by my way of thinking.

The only potential issue of keeping the spare in this orientation is not having access to the valve stem to check the tire pressure, but I carry an air compressor and can fix it if I ever need to use the spare.
