Headliner Removal on a Skyslider Top

I want to know if the headliner can be removed and be reinstalled on a closed Skyslider top.
Since my top still works great and closes the top, I was thinking about removing the headliner and having a fiberglass shop use a chopper gun and coat the underside of the top with fiberglass to make it a solid top but still have the look of a canvas top on the outside.
I want to re-install the headliner cause it still looks great.
Anybody that has removed and replaced the headliner that can enlighten me on how to, I would greatly appreciate the info.
Thanks, Alan

Here is a link to the cardigan version of the FSM on the sky slider. You will have to go through the I'm not a robot stuff before it will open. It is not in the most sequential order, but walks through the sky slider removal and repair processes, including separating the headliner. Since yours is still working, getting it to the 12" retracted position will make things easier for you. https://cardiagn.com/2011-liberty-kk...eisure-system/
