Carpet ?

I am trying to help a lady friends 16 y/o Foster son.

2012 Jeep Liberty

With guidance here had the heater core replaced last week. Thanks to all who gave me advice, A local shop did the repair in the time frame and cost est, you all said it should be in !

So another question.

The leaking core soaked the passenger side carpet ,

I do not think washing the carpet to get rid of most of the anti freeze would help 100% and think the remaining anti freeze might damage the floor boards if left ? Thoughts ?

In looking for replacement carpet all I can find is up to 2007 no 2012 :O

Any leads on a link with 2012 ?

Who did yo use ?

I am checking the vendors list as well but no luck so far !

Any other info you all need ? Let me know and I will give her a call !

DO the seats have to be pulled out or does the carpet fold around the seat mounts ?
And I will be also looking on You Tube to see if I can find info on installing the carpet !

Again Thank You for any info

I don't know the answer to your carpet question but I do recommend WeatherTech or Husky floor liners. They will replace the mats and catch any/all liquid and grime from install on. Definitely worth it. I replaced my OEM floor mats at 24,000 miles and havent looked back.

I agree on the Floor liners, I have them in my truck and car ! If he had those in his jeep the mess would be minimal ! But god to add after the fact as well

Thanks

After a few You Tube videos it looks like will not have to remove the seats. SO hope that works in his 2012 Liberty lol
Now to find a dealer that sells floor carpet kits for a 2012 :O
