2011 jeep liberty short m34 fuse

Hello all,
I have a 2011 jeep liberty that has been giving me problems recently. Everything is stock, no aftermarket equipment and no cameras.
I'm not sure if this is related but my rear passenger brake light blows often and I have had to replace it 3 times so far.
Anyways, my M34 fuse constantly blows. I will replace it and as soon as I turn the car on it blows. My interior light (above the shifter) will also come on and turn off at random times while driving.
Can someone explain how I could find the short that wont cost me hundreds of dollars? My brother is mechanically inclined so I'd like to give him some tips to find it. Also can you provide me with all the areas to which this fuse goes to?
