I am new to the forum and working on my jeep. Beginner with knowledge, Be nice :-)
I have done a good bit of improvements to her in the last 10 months since I got it. Mostly in a great local shop. $$ I am however really wanting to learn and start working on it myself.
It is running really hot when I have to go on a trip of any distance. Closest trails, 4x4 park is a little over an hour. Speed limits are 65/70 on the route there. YES, I understand pushing it at 65 mph for 45 minutes with a TH350 with no overdrive is going to do that? But what are ways I can bring the 2,800 rpms down ? Or replace the old brass radiator with new 3core alumin/spal fan (does not overheat idle or running stop and go traffic in town, just on the highway)? Or Re gear?
Or am I looking at new trans with O/D?
Thanks for advice in advance!
