Type 35

So i just purchased my first Jeep. It is an 2002 Liberty. I was curious i was driving and noticed that a light just above my techometer that said Type 35 and i was just curious what that means i looked through the owners manual and found nothing. please let me know

Number of the instrument cluster I believe. We had a huge debate about whether or not those numbers light up or flash.

Take a read through this thread. Actually pretty entertaining: Type 35 Error Code. Type 35 was the instrument cluster number for '02-'04, then it changed to Type 43 from '03 on (same issue, different decal).

You would think that a type no. wouldn't be so prominently displayed. What are they thinking?

i know i mean seriously who really cares all that much about what type it is...espically if all are the same i could see it if they were differnt but thats just silly
