No power to tail light assemblies

Bought a used 2004 Liberty 3.7. Had no T Lights.
Changed sockets, no help.
Checked for power at plugin at assemblies when head lights were on. No power.
Checked fuses at 7 and 9. Both good.
Checked power at primary side of 7 and 9. No power.
BU lights and Turn sigs, both work fine.

Trouble must be in multi-func. switch on column?

Go back to "Checked power at primary side of 7 and 9. No power." Find out why.

IIRC fuse 7 and 9 get 12v from park lamp relay in junction block.

links to jeep liberty OEM manuals are available here at jeepforum.

search MANUALS by user name jtec

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

Thanks for the tips. I will check these things. I had wondered which was first to have power, the fuses 7 and 9 or the multi-func. switch.

Could not find anything called park lamp relay and Jeep parts people knew nothing about it or where it might be. It does show that relay on the elect. diagram.

They said it must be the Daytime running light relay in dash fusebox. The place for that is empty. I should have bought a Chevy maybe.
