New KJ owner here! ISO wheel and tire advice

Hi all! Newbie to the forum here. Just recently purchased my first KJ!!! Super stoked. 2007 Jeep Lib Sport 6-speed manny.

I'll admit, I'm not very experienced with cars and this is the first one that I'll be modifying myself.

I'm planning on throwing a lift on it. I've heard good things about the 2.5" Rough Country lift kits. Thoughts?

Also wondering about good tires. Looking for a good A/T tire. Possibly Goodyear or BFG. Any recommendations would be awesome.

The lift kits are good. Pretty much all the lift kits do is put a cup under the front strut where the fork mounts, or place a spacer on the top strut mount. The rear usually use taller springs. The max lift is about 3.5" without messing up the front suspension geometry. For tires I use whatever is cheap these days. I found with the all terrain tires they last 20,000 to 30,000 miles regardless of brand.

Ask yourself this. How much hard core, mud up to the door handles off road driving will you be doing? 5%, 24% or 100%.
