Front Differential Bushings

Hello guys i have a question for you. We were recently contacted by a gentleman who was informing us that the front differential bushings are a common failure on these vehicles. Now we dont know much about the jeep liberty but if the above was true then we are considering manufacturing a solution. We (Creative Steel) manufacture polyurethane suspension components for several vehicles.

So is this a common problem or just a problem that this particular guy is experiencing? Your experience is greatly appreciated

I haven't heard of it happening as bad as the WK/XK platform, but it is mounted in a similar fashion, so I think it would be great as these vehicles age.

Now if you want a gold mine...how about steering rack bushings for the KJ and KK. Oil changes get oil onto the driver side bushing and they deteriorate eventually if not washed off... There doesnt seem to be any aftermarket HD bushing (rubber or poly) just OEM type replacements.

Also, maybe contact admin about setting up a vendor profile, I think you are supposed to have that if you are selling or promoting on the site.

Also, in your post in the WK/CK forums, I saw a 503 area code phone number. Are you in Oregon?

Yes he had also mentioned that the steering rack bushings were a problem as well. We will definitely look into those.

I could be wrong but as long as i am not selling anything i should be ok (admins please tell me if i am wrong). At this time we do not manufacture enough product to justify a vendor profile but that could easily change.

And yes we are in Salem. If you are close feel free to stop by.
