03 Liberty Sport 4 x 4 Radio Problems

My radio is playing on only the left rear speaker until I use the brakes or the turn signal. Then, all four will usually come on for a short time. Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

Check the ground. weird electrical issues usually stem from that

Grounds

x2. Check the grounds. Get a wiring diagram and start checking them out. Sounds like a poor connection somewhere in your wiring harness.

My line of thought is that, if he had steering wheel volume controls, maybe they got messed up while he was horsing around behind the steering wheel

I messed around with all the stereo wiring for over a year and had al kind if crazy symptoms like youve had. Only cure was to completely rewire with new 18 guage and solder all connecions. Its a little tricky getting through the doors, but worth it. Not an issue in over a year now!
