Hi All

We recently found a pipe that literally dropped out of the engine bay of our Jeep!
It looks like some kind of breather pipe but we have searched everywhere and cannot find where it goes. if anyone can advise us we would be most grateful indeed.
As soon as i figure out how to attach photos to this post I will do so!

There is a small tube coming off the cold air intake and connecting back to the valve cover. There is also a tube coming off the manifold and connecting to the valve cover.
Could be one of those.

Thanks Pcoakley, but I don't think that's it!

I found a black pipe linking the air filter housing to the valve cover, but that pipe is in place.

The one I have looks like it plugs into an opening and leads to a one way valve - like an escape valve of sorts!

The first photo below shows the pipe that I found, and the second one shows the horizontal black pipe already connecting the air filter box to the valve cover
