steering box advice

Hi all.
I'm looking for advice about steering boxes. Where should I look to learn about them? What to look for? Stay away from? What to buy if I plan to lift in the future and use larger tires? I'm willing to do the work, I just need to be pointed in the right direction.

Thanks for your time.

2002 TJ.
I do use it as a daily driver, but I also love to take it crawling, and want to be more capable in that arena.
In the future I will lift it, and increase tire size, but I want to do all of that correctly, so I need some help avoiding costly mistakes, like buying a steering box that is not up to the rigors of crawling.

It's almost entirely stock at this point. I only acquired it a couple of years ago. My current steering box is leaking, so I was thinking this would be a good time to upgrade it for future suspension needs.

Well most any box from the reman seems to be junk anymore. Last one i bought i went with PSC it was not much more then a new stock and its WAY bigger way stronger. So to me its new OEM < PSC.

If you plan to wheel harder trails that daily thing might be an issue. since what you drove too over the weekend may not run on monday.... But that really depends on driver and what they think is hard and what is or not in reality.

you should post this in the TJ area for the guys that run Tjs.

Thanks for the help! I wasn't sure where to post it in the first place. I'll look at PSC. The daily driver is not my only vehicle. I don't get too crazy, but I want to.
