Should I purchase the Poison Spyder Body Armor?

Should I purchase the Poison Spyder Body Armor from 4wheelonline? They claim that it will protect your Jeep's weakest points and make it appear as tough as it truly is. It conforms to the contours of the Jeep's body to provide protection while maintaining ground clearance.

Explain why you think you should or should not ? Is the Jeep used in a manner or location that could subject it to body damage, and would the damage matter ?

99.9999% of people will never "need" body armor. Based on that one fact, NO, you should not buy it.
Now, if you plan to do extreme off-roading, don't know how to park at the mall, or just think they look spiffy and you want them, then go ahead and buy them.
Most folks don't buy them until the panel they would protect is actually damaged, then they use the armor to cover up that damage.

How do you off road? If you wheel in rocks, buy it. If you don't, then it's probably unnecessary.

I have rear corner armor, worth every penny as I wheel in rocks. Wish I had the rocker armor. Took a rock into the rocker on the drivers side when I slipped off a rock. Rocker armor would have absolutely helped.
