Need a hilift extreme top clamp/ spreader attachment

Im looking for the spreader attachment clamp that came missing from my yard sale Hi lift. I went to the Hilift web site, but they only have the red, black top clamp versions. The one I'm looking for is from the extreme version, gold in color and has a hole for a shackle and a slot for a chain choke. Does any one know where I can score one of these? Thanks in advance

Did you try calling hi-lift, that is probably your best bet, I don't know why the red/black one won't work, I believe all high lifts are tested to the same standard.

So I called the Hi lift company, and they told me that the cool top clamp is not available as an accessory, that it is only available with the extreme jack. That sucks. Thanks for the great customer service hi lift.

So, now it's bad customer service when Hi Lift tries to maintains the integrity of their Extreme product line and says that if you want the Extreme clamp you have to buy the Extreme jack.

Are you talking about that goofy thing that slips over the top of a hi-lift so it can be used as a clamp, has a hole for a chain?

If so, I've got one, but mine's not gold.

Just take your Hi-lift and put it in the corner of the garage where it belongs.

Have a look at the Jack Mate

http://www.trekoutfitters.com/extra/hi_jack/index.htm

Bill Burke recommends them and mine is certainly easy to use. I've not had to use it in a real recovery, but in rigging practice it's about as simple as could be.
