Lift Kit Suggestions

I purchased my 2011 JKU about a month ago, and it is completely stock other than a few cosmetic things and aftermarket tires. In the next 6-8 months, I’d like to put a lift on it. I do most of my driving in the city or on The highway, and want to maintain a smooth ride there while getting a little extra ground clearance that will help out on the trails every so often as well.

I’m hoping to find one at a decent price (around $1000?) but I’m open to all suggestions. I’ve written off RC as everyone seems to agree they’re pretty rough riding. TIA

Teraflex 2.5" lift with something like Rancho 9000 shocks would be a good place to start. The Teraflex lift, which you can get without their shocks, is a great entry level lift and the Rancho 9000's are ride adjustable so you can set your firmness. You may also need either Geometry correction brackets of different lower control arms but those can be added later if needed.
