Install Bumper Lights

So I know a bit about cars but not a whole lot, so forgive my ignorance. I was just wondering if I buy hella brand or kc lights, how would i go about installing them on the front bumper. Do i need a bar? Thank You.

I just installed a set of KC driving lights and warn fog lights. If you have the stock bumper, i believe you can just mount them in the holes on the outside. I have a smittybilt XRC Front bumper. I mounted the KC's on the bull bar where there were mounts. But then for the warn's I drilled holes in my bumper.

I don't have any holes already on my grand cherokee bumper. Could I also buy a grille protector and drill into that for the lights?

Yeah after I posted I realized you didn't have a wrangler. Best bet is to google it and look at different setups. I wouldn't mount them directly to your grille. Im sure you can mount them to your bumper.

There are bumpers and bull bars that are made with holes so you can install lights. I know ARB has this kind of bumpers.
