Flowmaster or glasspacks?

I have an 89 jeep comanche, it's a 4.0 liter but I want a deeper louder sound, any suggestions? Or should I just leave it be

If you are only doing it for aesthetics, don't bother. When you do, I'd go Magnaflow.

I thought my Magnaflow was too loud. but once I ran the tailpipe all the way out the end it's PERFECT. Before it was just dumped after the muffler.Mines a 4.0 as well

YouTube usually has some sound clips. Or some shops will mock up the muffler for you so you can hear the tone

The company web sites have clips too. I actually did use YouTube only a couple weeks ago before spending for a new exhaust system for my '01 Durango R/T.

Magnaflow and flowmaster websites. Completely forgot bout that. But like I said most shops will mock up a muffler for you. This will give you the most realistic sound.

I had a flowmaster with a factory cat on my YJ. Here is a vid that has a decent example of the sound. It was not over bearing by any means. It was quite pleasant all around.

Around the 45 second mark...

If it has tracks, tires or tits, its gonna cause a problem.

Flowmasters sound great on the 4.0. The Super 40 has a deep note and makes the 4.0 sound as good as it's going to. Ive ran them on multiple jeeps and have been happy every time.

Magnaflow has a lot of fans, but Ive never had a reason to stray away from Flowmaster.

I wouldn't consider a glasspack.
