Can a condenser leak liquid?

From pep boys website: "Unlike many other automotive fluids, refrigerant evaporates on contact with air making diagnosing a leak based on visual inspection impossible"

I just finished replacing my radiator and am trying to establish if my AC condenser was also damaged. (I hit something with the vehicle last week). One corner of the condenser has some dented fins and I feel like they seem wet to the touch, but I'm not 100% sure it's not just water or leftover spilled coolant from the radiator. According to the above info, the refrigerant wouldn't be liquid outside of the pressurized system...

Who knows thier AC systems and can help me diagnose?

The oil in the refrigerant will leave residue where there is a leak. If dye has ever been put in the system that will be visible also.

I have seen condensers bent far worse than that and didn't leak , but if there is any oily residue in that area its leaking .
Its already showing signs of corrosion (white spots) so its probably going to need replacement in the future.

It was too cold out yesterday to tell if the AC works or not, but judging from what you guys are saying about oily residue I think I've got a small leak, not to mention the corrosion. I just finished replacing the radiator yesterday so at least the whole front fascia is still off (this is a WK2) and I guess its time to tackle this condenser.
