Anyone here ever NOT had the Death Wobble?

Never heard of it before mine started a few months ago. After all’s been said and done it turns out mine was caused by the tires themselves. Tread looked okay but they were about 5 years old (came with the Jeep – I bought it used).
After getting a new set of Firestone Destination A/T’s wobble’s gone. I had already replaced the steering stabilizer and tracking bar – everything else checked out fine.
Looking at the inside of the old tires I saw where a couple had a small “wave” or roller coaster look to them. I’ve been told that this is what they call when tires have a “separation” problem.
Anyway, with my research and trying to get mine fixed it seems like almost everyone has had the Death Wobble if they’ve been a Jeep owner any length of time so I’m just wondering if many long time Jeepers have NEVER had that problem…???

No DW for me...yet! My 05 LJ Rubicon only has 9K miles on it and the Toyo MT tires were new last year ~3-4K miles ago. Bought it last fall and drove it 1800 miles home with zero problems.

I did have some puckered moments 20 years ago driving my 1st Jeep (82 CJ-7) home ~60 miles from Denver on the skinny wore out tires mounted on the stock steel wheels, but never anything like what I've read of death wobble.

Fingers crossed!

I thought I had DW...until I read a thread about it here and it turned out to be just a shimmy.

None for me yet either, not even bump steer. I find it really strange because my control arm bushing are pretty much gone, and my front tires are worn reallllyyyy badly. I think I felt a very faint wobble today, but it went away as soon as I thought it might be the beginning of a death wobble seizure.

Built Not Bought... it means YOU have to turn your own wrenches.

Yeap, BAD DW

3 inch BDS lift and stock track bar redrilled...

Getting the Currie front setup and an adjustable front Tracbar as soon as the funds allow, not a good feelign at all, did it so bad the other day my steering stabilizer worked loose....

No Dw on my 06 Rubi yet. It's stock, but not for long.
