1971 CJ5 4cyl paint code

Iím new here. We have been tinkering with this new Jeep we just got. This is the first Jeep weíve owned.
I was hoping someone could help us understand the original paint and trim info. We would like to get it back to original. I attached a pic of the data on the tag. From the file attached it looks as though the original color was Candlelight yellow-but listed right below it is the color parade blue. The way itís listed, it looks as though there were 2 colors on the Jeep. We can only see the yellow in areas the spray paint didnít cover (previous owner spray painted entire Jeep).

They didn't 2-tone the CJs. Unfortunately, they were not very good at documenting the options/colors/trim in the early years and that paint code could be either of those colors.
If you're painting it anyway, I would just scrape through the silver in a few spots on various panels and see which color it is.

Thanks. We found the yellow all over. Only see the blue inside the skid plate for gas tank

I am going to guess that parade blue was a special order color paint code 999. It is listed for paint code reference. But, the experts on this are over at earlycj5.com, might want to sign up and maybe get some more clarification from them.
