Pros: Tough as nails. Unpainted for a custom look. Heavy duty. Reasonably priced. Was available in Chrysler 8.25.
Cons: You have to paint it for that "custom look". HAHA
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I actually have the Chrysler 8.25 model of this Rockcrusher unit, but there wasn't a selection box for this model. Same as the others though. This product is tough as nails. Have dropped off quite a few stones on this cover and it doesn't phase it in the lease. Thick steel, gusseted for rigidity, heavy duty.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a [email protected]$$ diff.cover.

Pros: Sturdy, holds more fluid
Cons: $$$

Comments: Sturdy, holds more fluid that OEM covers. Replaces diff covers that do not have threaded fill holes liek the 35s and 8.25s

Price: $50.00
Pros: seems solid enough to take a beating
Cons: a couple of my holes didn't line up, becasue of the reinforcing some of the holes didn't have enough clearance to put a socket on it.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: i haven't got to really test it out yet, or if i have i didn't even realize it. they have been on for 2 or 3 years now and are holding up good. be sure to paint them before you install them. i thought they were already finished and they rusted pretty quick. they are a big pain to try to clean up again to paint.

Price: $50.00
Pros: Beefy, good price at the time.
Cons: Screw holes need to be larger to make installation easier.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Got the rear D44 cover during the 2 for $100 sale...never did get my front D30 cover, but didn't get charged for it thankfully. Cover is good overall. They need to machine the bolt holes a bit larger to help ease installation.

Rockcrusher Dana 30/35/44 Differential Cover
Price: $200.00

Comments: I have the D30 Aluminum diff cover up front, and the Ford 8.8 steel cover in the rear. The 8.8 cover is bullet proof, but holds heat. The D30 cover is not as bullet proof, but dissapates heat very well. I have beat the ever living tar out of the front diff cover. No dents whatsoever, but the rocks tend to shave a lot more off of the aluminum than the steel which bothers me. In the future, I will stay with Solid/Rockcrusher, but in a steel format.

Comments: On the front, the rib on the D30 cover rubs against the track bar. Easy fix with a grinder. The back plenty of clearance but no room to tighten down the fill plug if you are sitting at ride height.

Comments: These are crap. Bought two 44 covers and holes were off on one but not the other. Had to grind down a rib on the front or the track bar would hit but I think this is a Rubicon D44 thang. Good for the money I guess.
