Price: $350.00
Pros: price
Cons: poorly made
Recommended? No

Comments: I purchased the rig. It is a weak setup and the tire carrier will not stay shut. I will be replacing this bumper down the road. I would prefer to spend a few hundred more on a Warn than buy the Smittybuilt.

Pros: Spire tire carrier, 2inch recever.
Cons: none

Comments: This bumper is fairly easy to install. It requires 4 7/16 holes to be drilled(Includes template). Other than that I have no complaints at all.

Price: $300.00
Pros: Sturdy, heady duty. Looks like they fixed the issues. Mine is boxed, has a place for tow chains, and installed with no issues.
Cons: Product is very heavy. Not a con, but a PITA to install by yourself.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Not a bad product. I read plenty of bad reviews of this bumper, but honestly, it was all i could afford. I just want to address a few.

Install- Not a problem. All holes were drilled, i had all hardware, and everything lined up perfectly. You DO have to drop the tank.

Fit- Perfect. I do not have a BL, and it is NOT needed.

Quality. Great. Heavy duty. Mine had tow chain points, is fully boxed, and the grease point does NOT hit my tail gate.

Over all, i guess they fixed the issues. Great item, great price!

Comments: Awesome Heavy duty bumper. Not bad of a price for a Bumper w/ Tire Carrier. Has a spot for a 2" reciever.

Price: $300.00
Pros: its a swing out with clevis mounts
Cons: ralltes, holes dont line up, hard install, bad powder coat.
Recommended? No

Comments: I picked this up cause it was about the cheapest i found for the wifes TJ. As the old saying goes you get what you pay for. With in a week powder coating was chipping off and rust was coming through. I have repainted and touched up numerous times and this thing has not even been beat on yet. It came with cheap and missing hardware and the holes do not line up well at all, also this is a rattling nightmare. I have to adjust this thing weekly. Also watch the Zerk fitting to grease the spindle. It easily snaps off if your not carefull with the tailgate. Ask me how i know Spend your money on a real swing out and stay away from this company!

Price: $275.00
Pros: Cheap, comes with 2" receiver.
Cons: Junk mounting hardware. Tricky to get all the mounting accomplished. Many holes need to be cleaned up or retapped. Latch needed to be ground down.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The fit and finish leaves A LOT to be desired. I had to grind the sprung latch pin to get it to fit. This thing rattles worse than anything I've ever seen. A bad design really. I use a ratchet strap to pull the tire carrier taught enough not to bang and creak. The mounting hardware is junk, softer than a brown banana.
With that said I knew most of this before I made the purchase and did so anyway. I needed a rear recovery point on my YJ and a carrier. My rig is 95% trail, so I was looking for something that would do the job and not break the bank. It works.
