Pros: You can actually hear your Jeep! I love the sound at idle and cruising at about 35mph. The Jeep ~seems~ to accelerate slightly stronger The stainless steel construction resists rust.
Cons: Some purist JF members say they sound "ricey" BS in my opinion.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: There's plenty of back and forth forum banter on the various cat-backs systems. I personally am pleased with the sound, manufacturing quality, and performance of the Bank's. So much so that I got the intake a month later to match it.

Pros: Sound, power

Comments: Now that I have this exhaust a throttle body spacer and intake the old dogish 4.0 breaths significantly better. The install was easy minus torching the factory exhaust off.

Price: $230.00
Pros: Sounds good & fairly easy to install.
Cons: Parts seem to be a bit off of OEM placement.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Over all I think this is a good and affordable exhaust. The hardest part was getting the OEM muffler off while on a garage floor. Especially since the muffler and the rear tail pipe are one long piece. There are about 4 main parts to the kit (51312):
  • Muffler
  • Front tail pipe
  • Rear tail pipe
  • Polished tip

It was a simple slip on type install until I had to connect the front & rear tail pipe pieces together. I first had to open up the swedge a bit to get the rear pipe over the front pipe so that was the easy part. This the lead to the exhaust sitting on the shock and rubbing it all the time when hung in the front bracket. The other issue is that they recently replaced the rear pipe with a new part that has a straight exhaust tip, the old one was flared down I'm told. This straight pipe causes the polished tip to sit on the bumper bolt, again rubbing constantly.

As of now I'm waiting to get a replacement part for the rear pipe and tip so it no longer sits on the bumper. I'm still waiting to hear from the design team about the shock rubbing issue. I'll try to update this when I get things figured out. Overall, if all goes well the installation part would take less than an hour using manual hand tools.

Pros: Stainless Construction
Cons: Combination of larger exhaust, larger shocks, and lift causes clearance issues.

Comments: Tailpipe rattles against pass. side read shock. Nothing a small dent didn't fix. I also got a steal on it so that helps.

Price: $300.00
Pros: Nice mellow tone, won't shake the windows of the house when I pull up. DOES NOT DRONE INSIDE THE VEHICLE UNDER ANY ACCELERATION OR CRUISE SPEED.
Cons: It's stainless, but does get rust rather quickly. Even so, it's a Jeep, and who needs pretty exhaust?
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Very good sound and on my daily driver it's just perfect for noise level but still gives a good growl when I get on it.

Comments: Very easy to install and it has a nice throaty sound. The only problem I had with the install was removing the factory exhaust. I'm very pleased with the kit overall and would recommend it to anyone that needs a nice cat-back system.

Pros: Holy $h!t..... This thing makes my 4.0L sound like a raging beast ready to rumble over anything or anyone in it's way.
Cons: 2.5" tailpipe was extremely difficult to get over the rear track bar during install. This problem was easily solved by taking that useless track bar off and installing it where it belongs... the trash can.

Comments: It was so easy to install, and went right in. It has a nice sound to it, not to loud that it drives you crazy but not as quiet as stock. Gave me a little more throttle response and better fuel economy(not much but a bit).
