Wow, just read through your build and it's awesome. except for the roll part.. but now you have an excuse to build the thing better and stronger that before. Good luck man!

I might use that second plan. I wan't to try and keep the original body line or something close to it.

So I am still alive, very minor progress on the jeep. Only thing new is it has a face again. Work shut down for a couple weeks for maintenance so I'm hoping to use this time to get a few things done but school is crazy busy and money is tight. The plan is to pick up some steel and hopefully get a seat. Trying to decide between Corbeau Baja XP http://corbeau.com/baja-xp.html, MasterCraft Pro 4 http://www.mastercraftsafety.com/per...eats/pro4.html, and prp comp which is pretty much the same as the mastercraft. I haven't sat in either so I started asking around, my buddy Mike Gardner directed me to a friend at quadratic who can hopefully answer whatever questions I may have. Most people tell me to go prp podium when I mention the XP but thats more than I want to pay. Leaning towards the XP because of price, wish they came in grey. This is only something I am going to be sitting in a few times a year so I don't want to kill my wallet but at the same time those few times are going to be long days of bouncing around.

I've sat in the XPs, they feel pretty comfortable and offer a lot of side support, similar to the podiums I have.

The only thing I don't like about the xp though is that my only choice is black and I'd like to get a grey seat similar to stock. The xp is the most friendly to the wallet and shipping is surprisingly cheap. I still have to call quadratec and see about the mastercrafts. Gotta a pretty good quote on the PRP so hopefully I'll order one of the three next week.

No it's still alive I played with it the other week. It has just need a demanding school semester and now I've got a big boy job and continuing my other job at the country club so I'm looking at 60 hour work weeks but I'm going to find time at nights when I can. Next pay check should be going towards steel and cut off blades.
