As if Colorado wasn't pretty enough in the summer, the fall colors were showing.

Black Bear Pass! I ran this trail last year in my 4Runner and love the view overlooking Telluride. If you get the chance to run BBP and haven't yet, do it! BBP is extremely over hyped in terms of difficulty.

Overlooking Telluride

We hadn't charged the camera all trip and it decided to die at the top of BBP. Here you can see BBP from Imogene Pass taken via cell phone.

Just as we had passed through Tom Boy, we pulled over on a climb to allow another Jeep to pass. Suddenly the Jeep began hissing and steaming; clearly my cooling system was done.

I used the camp knife that a good friend hand made for me to pop the hood since it was a little squished (thanks Mickey) and determined that my radiator had decided to separate at the top. We made one final climb to the top of Imogene Pass, but didn't stop for pictures.

We raced down the mountain, stopping occasionally to allow the engine to cool and eventually made it the 12 miles back to camp.

Just before getting down we stopped one last time to cool off and I noticed that I was missing my camp knife! I knew that I had used it to pry the hood open on the Telluride side of the summit and had left it on the tire. There was no way the Jeep was going to make it back up and I wasn't going to hike back up the mountain as it was getting darker and colder. A couple in an XJ stopped to offer help since my hood was popped. I told him to keep an eye out for a knife (showed him a picture) and to enjoy if he found it. He told me that he would look for it and he would mail it back to me if he found it! He was about to set up camp and would finish Imogene the next morning. I gave him my number and we parted ways.

The next day it was time to head back home. We were about 4hrs away with spotty cell service when a random phone number texted me with an image, but I could not view it at the time. Shortly after it came through and said "Does this look familiar? It appears that several people have drove over it, but it's no worse for the wear." I gave him my address and he said he would mail it this week!

Heavy fog somewhere in west Texas.

Removed the lightbar because the wire got sliced after the roll over. Also got the radiator replaced (165k miles), one of the easiest repairs I've ever done on the Jeep. Got the Jeep running again after the Moab trip and took the pup out to run errands.

I also noticed that the tub seams were cracked on both sides after the roll, guess it's time for corners!

Oil changed and tires rotated at 165, 519. Touched up the bare metal on the corners from the flop, I'm hoping to get the corners by Summer.

Took 4 years, but I finally added a washer fluid reservoir after the Rokmen hi-lines. Also removed the winch to give it to the 4Runner, so she will be winch-less for a while.
Jeep will get a shiny new winch eventually.

Well life happens and it's time to sell the Jeep. I started working on a part out this week and have been selling off some of the aftermarket parts. After the majority of it is removed the whole Jeep will be for sale stock-ish.

So far the Corbeaus, full doors, metalcloak front bumper, Next Venture rear bumper, Trucklites, Antirock, Savvy GTS have sold. Still need to sell the wheels/tires, Rokmen tailgate, UCF skids, PSC cage, Rokmen highlines.

One pic showing your dog in the back of the Jeep, is it a Belgium Malinois or a German Shepherd. Nice looking dog either way.

1993 YJ 4.0 60 Front, Rear steer 60, bolth spooled, 5.38's, 700r/241 39.5 iroks and beating it like it owes me money.

And on the 8th day, God created the 14 bolt...

She is GSD with Czech bloodline. She has a very dark muzzle, and dark sable coat. I often get asked the same question. Oh and her name is Mia

I figured might as well add the tranny filter while he was in there again, easy enough to change at oil changes, so once a year.

Picked up some tan seats and a black rollbar. Gonna clean everything up and swap it in soon hopefully. Roll bars came with front seat belts, so now I'll have an extra front set to sell.
