Nice. I've been happy with mine. They were strong enough to break my rear air locker so I'd say they're pretty stout.

Haha good to hear.
Sold some textbooks on Amazon and then realized they only give the money in gift cards, not cash. So sometime soon I'll be ordering the door surrounds, header bar, and tailgate bar from them. Retail $241.39 but will be $114.16 out of my pocket. Not in a big hurry since XT said the top is still on back order. Do I need the tailgate bar? I don't really know what it does, does the fact that I don't have OEM tailgate effect it at all?

Reminder, this is the top I get

Without the tailgate bar, the window will be loose on the bottom & will let water just drip straight down the window & into the jeep.

It's not that bad...I mean I didn't have a rear window at all, from last October until July...& that was in FL

& do you need that header? Doesn't the top just mount the same as factory?

I thought the soft top needed a header bar, or is that just for bikinis? Jeep hasn't had a soft top on it in years so I'm not sure.

I'm not that familiar with the top from them, but it looks like it's an oem style replacement that uses oem hardware, which means no special header.

Oem style tops/hardware just use the latches on the hardware go latch into the slots where your hard top latches in.

Alright I think I'll skip the header for now and just find out when I get it, but I think I will get the tailgate bar. For sure need door surrounds right?

Yeah, you'll want the door surrounds

Haha in the 6+ yrs I've had mine, it's had the
1. Oem top
2. Bestop RAT
3. A half taped together sailcloth top that I got from the lady I sold my RAT to
4. Bikini (no-drill header)
5. Safari (drill-in header)...for a day &returned
6. Another safari (no-drill style this time)
7. Rampage frameless
8. Now an oem sailcloth from an 05 (traded the rampage for it)

Haha, I still have the safari & the bikini to use...but they were my main/only tops for a bit & I'm enjoying having a real top

Haha, well my oem top had holes in it when I bought the jeep & I sold my RAT to lady that was in a TJ next to mine at a stoplight....& then I traded my rampage top for an oem one & the others have been in between.

I sold the RAT for $225 after 4 yrs & got her partially complete top in return...it needed half a roll of gorilla tape & the windows it had (no rear window) were awful...but it was sailcloth

If someone offered enough, I'd sell my current top...haha
