My dad slid into the back of a mini van after a light rain and bent the bumper which I would later replace. Since then I've been wheeling it stock.

I think this was Feb of 2011, we actually had snow in Ft. Worth

More to come later, I don't wont to fill up this post too much.
So my mom bought me a new front bumper since my dad damaged the old one. When it was time to get a new one I wasn't part of the forum so I didn't know about the Smittybilt powder coating issues; I haven't experienced any issues yet though.

Having friends and family in the forces I added this to the top center of my windshield.

Tranny went out a few months ago and hat it towed to the shop to get rebuilt.

Drove out to the lake just because

It was a bit muddy by the lake. My roommate was supposed to accompany me with his F150, but he was in class and I got bored. Of course I got stuck; luckily some fellas in a city dually truck happened to drive by and let me strap up to them. Mud slicks anyone?

With the money I had saved up after working at Cavender's Boot City for a summer (after building a $900 computer
Witch still works great and I am happy with, just wish I'd known I was for sure getting the Jeep) I was finally able to put my money to good use. I had planned on paying to have my lift installed because the whole idea was a little daunting, but after the cheapest quote just north of $2000 I changed my mind.
Since being home for Christmas break a friend and I have put on my Zone 1.25" Body lift, 1" Motor Mount Lift, and finished the 3" Suspension Lift. (Zone 4.25" Combo kit)
BL and MML

Working on the suspension:

Even convinced my girlfriend to help.

Front finished

4.25" total

This is the Zone Offroad 4.25" Combo Kit with Hydraulic Shocks, JKS Adjustable Front Trac Bar, JKS Quick Disconnects, Rubicon Express Steering Stabilizer.
I only have 31x10.5, I need to get 33x10.5. But I'm not sure when that'll happen.
Picture with a big Excursion Before & After.

We got snagged on some old bolts and a few other random things but all together it took about 5 days. It was much easier than I expected and was fun. I'm very glad I didn't pay to have it done.
A friend got me some new floor mats for Christmas since mine crapped out

So of course I had to get the steering wheel cover to match.

So I'm thinkin on Friday I'll put in the Aussie Lunchbox Locker in my D30 that I got off craigslist for $150 and some new brakes for the front.
Bought a new cross shaft pin and thrust washers for it too. I decided I'd try the seal instead of RTV.
Edit: I skipped the seal and just used RTV.
[i

And my dad got me new front brakes for Christmas (and an iPhone 5).

Some goodies in my closet (Aluminum Rear Uppers)

So I decided to start the locker today. I tried putting a pry bar under the carrier and hitting it with a hammer, but I can't get the carrier out of the differential; it won't even budge. Any ideas?

Well I tried the pry bar method and no luck. Then put a strap around the carrier and pulled, still no luck. Tomorrow I'll be putting everything back together and changing the brakes. I'll take the Aussie with me to College Station next month and hope that someone in the off-road club I plan to join can help

Your going to have to remove your steering arm to allow the carrier to be completely removed. Also have you tried the pry method using a 2x4 for support?

I got it! Put a tow strap around the carrier and hooked it to my friends JK to use the ratchet strap but when he put it in park it yanked right out. Nothing broke thankfully.

Well I can't get my cross pin out. And it didn't have a roll pin in it at all. So I took my carrier to the City Garage and they said it was broken and that I needed to buy a whole new carrier even though the spider gears turn just fine. I guess I'll order from East Gear Supply on Monday.
