For all of you nut swingers you can watch a very primitive stream of him racing right now here:

Was entertaining to watch. Similar to watching the KOH. Saw REDLYNER through the screen a few times.

Only thing I would suggest to NC4x4 is maybe put a camera on the area they called "Bottoms Up" - seemed to be some action there similar to Backdoor on KOH - was holding things up on the rest of the course due to some flops. Would have been cool to see that area.

*edit* I think I meant Chocolate Thunder, not backdoor...but whatever.

We sat for 50 minutes waiting on broken rigs to get out of the way on the first lap, then 20 more minutes in Park waiting on the second lap all on Bottoms Up.

The jeep was fast today... We swapped out the entire rear suspension 90 minutes before race time and it made a HUGE difference

Tons of stories to tell, we were one of only 6 rigs to finish B and C (unlimited) class combined and ended with a podium 3rd place finish!

Crazy day, lots of pics, just a short video (my battery died while sitting for an hour waiting to get around a dude). Will post a race recap later.

Congrats on the podium Jay! I was wondering how you were doing - was watching online & they said you were already running, but I watched for about 30 min before I saw you & then it was like another 15 after you hit the start/finish on the 2nd lap - must have been when you were at Bottom's up each time.

Great way to finish despite all the waiting!

Thanks Josh!

The wife took some good shots of lots of rigs, I'll post up some over the next few days and I will try to get some video up tomorrow.

One or two shots to get started:

This shot makes me uncomfortable just looking at it :

I spent $17 and 30 minutes at a spray and wash on the way home.

Thanks guys! It was one of the better times in the jeep. I'm still cleaning it up, finding all of the bent parts and scratches, I'll post a race recap, damage list, and a video pretty soon.

At 8:30am (race started at 10:00am), we hi-lifted the rear up, took off the coilovers, swapped the bottom springs from 14" 150's to 12" 200's, added 21" limit straps, and made some spring retainers out of super duper strong zip ties. The zip ties held strong for about 4 laps....

Once I put the Super 44 kits on, I have broken a front Alloy ring and pinion, twisted the rear Alloy USA splines on the axle shafts, and ripped off the front control arm mounts.

Great meeting you too! Congrats on the finish with Team Darlington! I hope to see your rig out at some of the open invites.
