Have you tried centered above the filler? I do like it better on the bed, but the balance is off a bit for me.

I would need to see what it looked like on the other side where there’s no filler.

So here’s centered above the fuel door, and just one above the left rear tail light.
Now I think I like just the one above the tail light.

Yeah.... centered doesn't look right. I guess it is either all the way back on the sides or the single in the rear.

So now I'm on a quest for seats for the jeep. My stock seats are torn up and will need a complete rebuild. I don't see the sense of putting that kind of money into those seats. I'm trying to find a comfortable seat that looks like it could have been a factory install. I thought about 2018 Ram seats, but they are too wide. I like the looks of the new Cherokee seats. Some have "jeep" embroidered into the seat back, and passenger side seats have storage area under the cushion. I've searched the internet and can find out much about them, and I cant find any install threads.
I'm not apposed to an aftermarket seat like corbeau trail cats or PRP suspension seats. Anyone see late model seats cherokee seats in a TJ? Any suggestions on a comfy seat?

I am really happy with the look and the comfort of my new early 00's Subaru WRX seats.

I've got Mastercraft seats in my TJ now and really like them. They are comfortable for all day sitting and sit you nice and firm in the seat. But since you don't plan on wheeling your truck where that type of seat is needed it might not be what you're looking for.

I also had Scat ProCar seats in my TJ and liked them also and I think they would fit what you're looking for really well.

There’s a Jeep show August 7th in Dallas Ga, so I’m hoping to take the Jeep truck. It won’t be complete, but will be drivable. It’s only 6 or 7 miles from my house so it will be a good first drive. I haven’t decided on seats yet, so I’ll will have the old torn up stock seats in it. No center console because I haven’t made a shifter, no bumpers, but I have a lot of people wanting me to take it, so it is what it is.
I still don’t have a good tune in the engine. Injected engineering in Kennesaw Ga charged me $650 for a dyno tune, but I still have the low idle/stall condition. When I’m rolling to a stop with the clutch in, as soon as the wheels stop rolling the idle recovers. Now injected engineering wants an additional $150 an hour to continue to tune it. So it could be 1 hour or 10 hours...who knows. I’m looking at either paying flyin Ryan from FPR Tuning another $700 to tune it or buying a HP tuner and try tuning it myself. I very frustrated at this point. It’s been 9 years since I started this project, and I’m getting tired. Too much more of this BS and I’m going to sell it and buy a Gladiator(sorry for the rant)

Quick test drive. I got up to 65. No shakes or surprises. I’ve still have to have it aligned.

Congrats on the test drive.

A Gladiator will never be as cool as what you are building. Don't give up.
