Got all 4 tires mounted last night. Need to move the tank back and start mocking up the rear 4 link.

Been busy with work and waiting on parts. Motobilt 4 link is here, atlas still a 3-4 weeks out, engine and tranny still a week to two out. In the mean time got the engine and tub pulled, started mocking up the 4 link kit. Hope to get the frame all cleaned up and start mocking up all the suspension in the next week or two.

Got the frame cleaned up, also cut the rear cross member out and moved the tank back 5". Need to take my brackets to work tomorrow and drill out all of the holes to 5/8". Also the motobilt kit uses 1.75" width top joints. Going to order the new currie joints for the top.

When you said simple build earlier in this post, I wasn't expecting the tub to be removed...lol.

I also wasn't expecting to have a big power plant, atlas and fancy 4 link system lol. As far as the tub, it was actually really easy, since I already had the motor pulled I took out the 6-8 body bolts and used the cherry picker to move it over. Only took me and a couple buddies 30 minuets and few too many beers. Im glad I did it, will make welding and mocking stuff up alot easier.

Nice. Did you run your rear numbers through a 4-link calculator?

I played with it a little bit but I couldn't tell you what anything means. I wasn't too concerned since the only adjustment I can do is the hole position for the upper links.

Post it up if you can. It would be interesting to see how the position of the upper frame side mounts impact the anti-squat.

Enjoying your build. Looking forward to seeing the engine work you have planned.
