I know!!!! I filled up halfway back home from school and it was $3.20 a gallon! After quite some time approaching $4, it was a welcome surprise.

It was actually so unexpected that I hadn't been listening to the tank to see when it was full to prevent overflow. I was caught by off guard when it shut off on its own after only putting in $23. So, i guess my hose mod has a mind of its own.

Its um.... a bit moist out there today, eh? For some reason my replacement trektop ALWAYS pours a bunch of water on me when I try to get in. The first one never did that. A bit odd.

I had no idea about it. My moms band has a show later on that night (Mojo Stiltskin playing at the Cracker Barrel Pub in Tarrifville - they are wicked awesome) but I am free during the day since my honey is in fire academy.

I just might grab my not-so-little baby cousin and swing on by. Are you going? Free for good music after?

Yeah some of us from Brass Balls are going and we'll be with MAD Performance. Hes also in the club but thats his company and he does all mechanic and fabrication work. Hes trying this event out to see if its worth being a vendor at other events as well.

I would say yes to the music but my GFs XJ is actually being trailered there and back so we have to meet the trailer back in CT after the show, but I appreciate the offer!

So I actually made it there - then I basically got stuck in 4wd. Long story short, there must have been a kink in the novak cable - I was able to take off the cable and manually get the transfer case back in 2wd.

Unfortunately, I was so pissed off that I just went right home instead of hanging around Monson. Will have to figure that out this weekend - snow is coming soon, we were almost below freezing this morning.

Nope - put it in 4wd before hitting the trails in a parking lot just to double check. I should have done that at home, like- maybe when I checked my winch. Lessons learned.

Ill take the cable off and see if I can find any issues. If not, Ill put the old z linkage on and see if that works. If it does - Novak said they will send a new cable out right away.

Still havent gotten to the transfercase linkage.... I think my poor little tracer is dead.

Put $300 into it trying to keep it alive, but I think the engine is blown at 180k miles. Looking into finding a replacement engine, but I will most likely have to call a wrecker to take it away for scrap money.

Its a sad day.
