Just Enough....For Now

Well I'm new to the forum and after seeing all these great builds, I think its my turn to build the rig of my dreams. It all started when I sold my first truck a 98 Dodge Dakota when I got it for free yet sold it for $500. Then I have always loved Jeeps so I found a great deal on Craigslist that I couldn't pass up. A 1995 Rio Grade 2.5L with 89k miles on the clock. Great shape and no rust. After my dad sent me a picture of a picture of it I was sold. He looked at it without me and soon enough I was a new Jeep owner. This past Christmas I had got a 4" Rough Country lift and went on from there. As of now it has the lift in with 32x11.50x15 BFG All Terrains off TireRack which had an amazing deal on these tires. This is where my journey begins. Enjoy.

Thank you sir! I love it. The stance the feel it just is crazy how Jeep doesn't sell them like this out of the factory. Maybe the next purchase for her is definitely a CB but maybe soon a steering stabilizer just for the extra help ya know. But she handles great in the 8 or so inches of snow we got over night. Them All Terrains look meaner than i though. She's a keeper!

Yeah the snow is definitely a beast to handle. On of our fields here at West Point had knee deep snow so PT was a blast. Nice jeep BTW it turned out nice and is in great condition for being an 89.

Thank you. Its actually a 95 with 89k miles. I'm hoping to get accepted to the Coast Guard Academy so hopefully my Jeep will be worthy in the CT Winters. Really good grip on them tires though which I thought the snow would just get packed in them tiny grooves and be like slicks or something but I like them.

Thanks. I feel the same way. Totally worth the time and effort to save up enough money to buy everything. So total cost with lift tires install and how much I bought it for is all around 5300? I love it!

Thanks Guys. Believe it or not there is absolutely NO rust on the body or frame or anything. When my dad looked at it and lifted up the carpet he was shocked to see the origional paint on the floor. It was a steel at only $3950. I just had to be patient and not settle for something because I saw a few jeeps that were all rotted out and "thought" I wanted it but finally got the one I wanted.

Any suggestions of what mods to do next? I don't want anything like a snorkle because I don't go offroading but maybe a whinch or trunk organizer or cb or....

Wow your Good. I've seen this one XJ that's green around but not yours just because of your profile. This guys got like a 4+" lift and 33" tires. I'll keep an eye open next time. I generally wave to other Jeepers so maybe I'll wave to the right one.
