I was pretty impressed with Blaine as well. He helped a great deal and didn't try and "sell" something.

I have the black magic pads and I cant wait to get the full setup.

Blaine knows his brakes and I am ready to add some more stopping power to help with the trailer.

Old Blue headed out last week for points West but I had to be quiet about the destination in case my nephew read the post. After a long transporter ride Blue made it to Missouri this week. My brother in law hustled to get it registered and cleaned up in time for Reid's birthday this Thursday.

Today Rory took Blue to Reid's school to pick him up and much to Reid's surprise Blue was waiting on him. I am glad Blue has a good home , though I miss seeing it in the driveway.

Whats in the box?!?

And why am I missing a MCE flat fender?

Because its time for four new MCE's!

My stock rears are looking pretty rough so I decided to replace them with some shiny new MCE's. So off with the old and on with the new. One down tonight and I am going to try and finish the other three up tomorrow before I have to head North.

Thanks , more progress pics. Will do my best to finish it up on Friday when I get home.

I almost wish I had gone with the 4.5" flares instead to get a little more coverage.

I skipped wrenching today and we went for a long backroads exploring run followed up by some wheeling at the farm.

The JK feels absolutely huge on the trails compared to the LJ.

Went to do taxes yesterday and we needed the trailer to haul all the paperwork

This is the first long run I have done since we bought the JK , and man what a difference there is on the highway.

Also have a semi serious tire kicker who wants to move the LJ to Europe.

4 Rubi wheels won't fit in that trailer.

They would if the tonneau was removed , but five Rubi wheels did fit in the back of the truck.

I can't keep track of all the vehicles you have on the hill.

Been a quiet year for the LJ with the MJ , XJ , WJ and JK all seeing mods.

I did get the LJ out for Wrench N Q II and it did quite well on the trail run.

The LJ is slowly clearancing a dead tree that lies across the trail at soft top height.

The beginning of Wrench N Q II

We had to burn a monkey.

And blow stuff up.

And wheel.

And there was some wrenching as well.

It was a great weekend with 34 people , 19 Jeeps , 75lbs of BBQ , 1 burnt monkey and 10 minutes of dear lord I hope the neighbors dont call the police fireworks.
