Got some more work done.

Clamped up the corner armor on the passenger side so I could mark out the cut line.

Trimmed the rear well.

Got the passenger side sanded.

And most of the drivers side. Just need to finish up the fender and cowl and trim the rear wheel well on the drivers side, then itís on to tape and paint.

My transmission has been leaking quite a bit since Moab. Looking at it, Iím pretty sure the seal at the pan broke loose during the roll. So I ordered up a lube locker for it. Iím sick of cleaning up the floor every other night so Iím gonna put that in when it comes in.

Got the corner armor sanded down. There was quite a bit of rust on the inside so I wire wheeled it.

Only way that Iíve heard of preventing the rust is too take the armor off once or twice a year and clean in between. That takes quite a bit of effort with the 20 bolts and nuts per side. So Iím gonna use nutserts this go around to hopefully make it easier to take on and off.

Primed:

And painted:

Next up, windshield frame, tailgate and grill.

Mentioned before that I was going to use nutserts to mount my armor this go around so I ordered this 16Ē nutsert tool. This thing works really well so far and makes installing them a breeze.

img_8485.jpg

My dad came down and helped me get the armor installed. So we got the holes drilled and nutserts installed.

And got the sliders and corner armor installed on both sides.
