FWIW you can call up trail worthy fab and get another H1 wheel. The guys there are real easy to work with. He found me an 8 bolt H1 wheel with a rock ring on it already, I just had to recenter it. I forget exactly how much but I was happy with the price. Unfortunately, my club requires you to carry a spare so I carry mine in the back

Yeah, I was barely able to do about 40 in 3rd gear. Once I hit 4th I would lose speed. Hopefully going from 4.56 to 5.38 will help with that. Not that I plan to drive it on the road often, just nice to know I can.

And I found using an engine hoist easiest for moving these anchors around. Its no fun picking up a +500lb axle by yourself!

My comment was more in reference to getting them to balance. I put a good bit of airsoft in there

That's boring then. I was thinking that there is a lot of weight to get spinning there.

I didn't add anything to my wheels to balance them. I haven't got mine over 45 yet but its been smooth up to that speed, even with a square driveshaft. I forget what you're running but I have 39.5x13.5 bias plys and I run about 15psi on the road

Man I have been so busy, I scrapped the bastard packs and got another set of new waggy springs just like what I put on rear. GOt the first bar and the mount done on my traction bar. front axle perches were 1" wider than yj frame so rather than outboard I just welded the pin holes up and re drilled them 1/2" inboard on each perch. Had to grind away a little casting on D side but it worked

Also Finished the wheels!
Here is the part 2 vid on the wheels, shows how to finish them up and the final product.

Balancing the wheels can be unnecessary from time to time. Of course, it all depends on what youíre running.

I showcase some of the problems Im having with the swap in this video, inboarding front axle spring perches, traction bar mounting, skid plate interference with my transfer case(due to the aw4 swap)

After not Getting much done in the last couple weeks Iím back out here modifying my homemade gas tank skid plate trying to keep the fuel tank and not switch to a fuel cell

I just got the swag off road finger brake built and installed also, finished the traction bar also which I decided to make a vid on chop saw notching, way easier than doubling with a hole saw.
