What in the world were you tightening to 250ft/lbs?

I tighten everything to 300! Can't tell you how many bolts I break

I was trying to remove a front axle nut! It was the longest wrench I had for the leverage, so I just tightened her all the way up & went at it & it was clicking, so it was torqued/seized way tighter than 250.

I was joking There are bolts on my Jeep tighter than 250lb/ft for sure

I often use the 1,2, or 3 grunt torque scale

I use the testicalator scale. Torque it until until you feel it in lefty it is probably good, torque it until u can feel it in both your way good. If you go any more than that then u probably wont get out of bet the next day.

Got the motor mounts in last night & started playing around with the tuck. That damn tranny pan is the limiting factor right now. I'm about 1/2" from getting the entire belly flat. I'm pretty sure I can get the TC skid flat to the rails, but may need to space my engine skid down a 1/2" or so, which pisses me off. I'm pretty sure I have the tub clearanced, but it just won't go up any higher. I can't tell what's hitting. I thought the motor mounts might actually be binding. They're tweeked pretty good. I could also use another 1/2" of motor lift. My fan is less than 1/8" from the shroud on the bottom. I may order some 1 1/2" brown dogs & that would pretty much get me flat I think, but I will probably have to do some major sheet metal work at the tunnel at the firewall. Here is where I left it last night.

Tonight I'm going to throw the lopro on & the flat skid & bolt everything up & see what we have.

lol! Yea, I'm TRYING to go perfectly flat. If that ain't gonna happen, then I'll chop up Connor's skid & make it sloped similar to that. I'll have a better feel with where I'm going after tonight.

I don't have the budget to buy that off you. I'd be looking for the same smoking deal as the axles.

Warning! Thinking outside the box here! Not that I would go through all the trouble, but what says the tranny needs to pull the fluid from a pan bolted to the bottom? Would it be possible to modify the existing pan to be more low profile & act as just a basic dust cover, & somehow plumb the pick up tube to a remote reservoir & plumb in an inline filter?

EDIT: I don't think there would be enough room. Looks like the valve body sticks down into the pan alot, so there wouldn't be a lot of room to gain.

It's technically not mine anymore, since the rig is sold, pending final inspection of my new one. It will be available from the new owner though, since he plans to take it off. Send me a PM and I'll hook you up with the buyer and see if you can work out a deal.

Sorry for the Hijack Danno....

That's pretty damn flat Danno! About 1/4 below the rail.
