OK, I just ordered 17" wheels with 37"x12.5"x17" Cooper STT Pro tires.

I'm figuring out what I want to do with brakes. I'm thinking 16" Vanco big brake kit and hydroboost upgrade.

Next will be a built D44 out front. I'm going to try and make it through the summer and do the D44 the same time I do a 3 link and new shocks.

I know 37" is the bastard child but it's the tallest I can go and get in the garage.

I am not where I intended to go.

Wheels and tires in. Love the ground clearance. I'm absolutely geared wrong until the engine swap buts it's not horrible. Vanco 16" BBK and Hydroboost being delivered shortly and it's needed with the weight of these tires. I'll work on bump stops shortly.

Torn between engine swap and suspension next. We will see. Regardless I have a lot of research to do.

Thanks!

I like the over all height but I might go a hair higher when I do the 3 and 4 link. Also learning the difference between ORIs and coil overs. I'm running a 1.25" body lift and 2.4" suspension lift. It's just a little too low. I have some minor rubbing at full steer that I'll work on. I am going to drop to 26psi and see how they ride, 28 is just a little stiff.

I am not where I intended to go.

I was on 37s at that lift height. Run as low as 20 psi on the street depending on the tires. Then after you find a good psi, do the tire chalk test to make sure you arent going to eat your tires up running that psi.

Installed the Vanco 16" big brake kit that includes new reinforced knuckles, 2 piston calipers, rotors, black magic pads, and bearings. We will see how they stop once they brake in..... See what I did there?

Waiting on the Vanco Hydroboost brake booster, I can't wait to get rid of the vacuum based system.

30mm ammo can fits perfect in the bed of my LJ, room for 4 as a matter of fact. I just have one on hand so I sprayed the interior with leak seal to keep the rattling down. I'll store my recovery gear and tools in it. It's also the perfect height to use as a seat. Just need to figure out a way to strap it down and secure it.
