Very cool. Makes me want to move to AZ (for about 9 months of the year...).

Awesome pics.

Nice Greg. Looking forward to updates.

I would say 6 months out of the year in AZ would be ideal. November to the end of April, haha.

Todayís the day! Got a little more work in last night, but ended up helping out the neighbor with his work truck a little bit.

Opened up behind my vents to make them functional and act as an access hole for the bolts so I donít have to remove the battery box. Itís a mess

Also picked up some wheel dollys at harbor freight. I needed to get the Jeep a couple feet further in the garage to get the crate in but didnít want it there for whole project. These worked perfect, although it was a lot harder to move the Jeep than I thought lol maybe Iím a puss, maybe itís just heavy who knows.

Didnít get all of what I wanted to get done today, but I made progress. I spent too long trying to strip my metalcloak inners, I may just spend the couple bucks for new ones. I have like 3-4 hours just in the little spot.

Also picked up a new trans cooler with an integrated fan. Itís a pretty big dual core tube and fin.

Iím thinking of painting the engine, intake, and valve covers grey and all the accessories black. Should look pretty cool. I may get lazy and just keep the engine black tho lol

Get some aircraft remover. Lay it down, come back in ten minutes and scrape it off with a razor blade. Shouldnít take more than half an hour for both of them.

Edit: make sure you use thick rubber gloves. That stuff is nasty!

Iíll try the aircraft stuff. The crap I was using was supposed to be pretty hardcore.

I did get a response back from metalcloak, and while they donít normally sell them separate, they said I can give em a call and theyíll work something out for me

Tried a bit more last night.

I used a heat gun to loosen Up and scrape the majority of the coating off with a 6Ē drywall knife

After scraping, a tar like residue is still left smeared around. So I used what was left of the epoxy remover and then scrubbed it with a bristle brush then rinsed it off. It came out pretty good.

Iíll probably have to still hit the whole thing with a sander to smooth out finish but I think I figured out the best way.

Iím still going to try to find the aircraft stripper, my local Autozone and homedepot didnít stock it. Iíve seen it on the shelves but I donít remember where.

Itís pretty obvious where I used different techniques
