Only the 2500hd 350 trucks with the tbi had oil coolers in my motor range. Iím sure if your motor is working properly you donít need one, especially in a Jeep, but Iím hoping mine will fix whatever is wrong with mine.

I have my factory oil cooler blocked off. I ran for 5 straight hours over the weekend with temps in the low 80's. It stayed pretty steady at 210 until I had to let the horses run a bit. I m anxious to see what the oil cooler does for you. I may have to put mine back in.

Did/Do you have the adapter at the oil filter? Or a different one?

Factory adapter. I just plugged the holes for the lines so I can go back to it if I want.

Interesting. I saw a tbi motor with the oil filter perpendicular like that at the JY this weekend and i thought that was weird but I should have looked closer lol. Mine keeps the oil filter vertical.

So I hated how my wheels came out after I painted them, and I didnít really want to run black painted wheel bc theyíll look like trash all scratched Iím sure after the first run, so I found another set of alloy H2s for only $40!

They were pretty rough looking when I picked them up, but about 5 hours of scrubbing off the baked-on brake dust and theyíre looking great!!

Iím going to swap the wheels out, then paint the others solid black. Iím keeping 2 for spares, and Ashland will take 2 so he can replace a couple damaged wheels of his own.

More progress! Got the rear spring hangers mocked up on the factory crossmember for now, and both axles mounted. Also go the front hubs installed.

And then I spent all night helping my buddy swap in the TJ d44. Still canít believe we found it at the JY

And my brother came across an old photo of my dads old CJ7, circa 1991-ish

Are you going to get rid of those boat anchors on the ends of that thing?

He plans on it. As you can see this is a pretty big project so budget it a big thing.

Pretty much what ash said. I already went over budget quickly but once the Jeep is moving again the next project is disc brake swap with the ruffstuff kit, as well as a double booster and either gut the stock proportioning valve or get an adjustable
