The Wrangler DuraTrac is Goodyear's Commercial Traction light truck tire developed for the drivers of multi-purpose, full-sized pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles looking for tires that play hard and work harder. The Wrangler DuraTrac is designed to be a versatile tire offering off-road competence in dirt, gravel and mud with on-road composure in dry, wet and winter conditions.

Wrangler DuraTrac tires feature a rugged tread compound that helps resist tread block chipping, chunking and tearing, especially during heavy loading and towing applications. Its symmetric tread design combines large shoulders and highly angled center tread blocks to enhance stability and traction in dry and wet conditions. Self-cleaning, stepped shoulder blocks, zigzag sipes and Goodyear's TractiveGroove Technology at the base of the circumferential grooves provide thousands of biting edges to enhance traction in deep mud and snow. Wrangler DuraTrac tires feature a rim lock that helps prevent wheel slip throughout the life of the tire and offers a built-in rim protector to help protect wheels from accidental damage on- and off-road.

Wrangler DuraTrac light truck tires are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol to identify they meet industry severe snow service standards. Wrangler DuraTrac tires are designed to accept optional #16 metal studs to enhance ice traction.

Comments: I’ve got a set of these in 33x12.50r15 I’ve had them since 15 and they’re still not bald. They’re good for a DD and in the snow and ice are exceptionally great. Wish they came in 35s/37s for a 15” wheel. You can’t go wrong with a set of these for mixed street/Offroad.

Price: $200.00
Pros: everything
Cons: none thus far
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I have a unique perspective on these as I am coming off a set of BFG AT KO2's. I had trouble balancing those tires, plus I wanted to step up from a 32" to a 33" in the Duratrac. These balanced very well with little weight.

Not much to add to what others have said: this is a great tire.

Edit: In my previous review, I said these were loud. I was wrong. It turns out I have a bad rear ring and pinion that I previously mistook for tire noise. These are actually very quiet, especially for the aggressiveness of the tread. Not "luxury car" quiet, but for what it is, very quiet.

They handle quite well in snow. Highly recommended.

Pros: great rated tire. great winter traction here in the NE. great tread wear for a moderate aggressive all terrain. good price vs quality competition
Cons: oversized tires are expensive, even the cheaper quality ones
Recommended? Yes

Comments: actually wanted the brand new Cooper ST pro but manufacturing had only began of the standard size tires. did not want to wait another 3 months until production of the 35s began. Duratrac was my runner up.

Comments: Tires look, handle grab and feel great. For this size 245/75/16 I think it's best out there. Maybe 35s crepek or Thompson but in the smaller size. This is it

Cons: Hydroplane a tad in heavy rains.

Comments: 50,000 kms and 6 years on first set, good enough tread left to put them on my other jeep about 65% tread left. On my second set now still no complaints, excellent hybrid tire dont stop making them.

Pros: Awesome in the snow and mud. Not too much road noise.
Cons: Expensive. But you get what you pay for.

Comments: I bought these tires for the harsh winters in ny. Great traction on and off the road in the snow and mud. With 4x4 engaged driving on snowy mountain roads is effortless. I'll continue to buy these tires as long as I live in the north. Good performing and a nice aggressive look.

Price: $177.00
Pros: Quiet, Clear's quickly, look good
Cons: None
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Bought these tires to go on my WJ after putting on a 2.5" Rusty's lift. Was very impressed with them. First time I go wheeling I hit a hole a little hard and wedged a chunk of wood in the bead, and the sidewall was firm enough to push against it and not leak air, even though it was partial luck . Clears mud very easily and very little throttle application especially for an all terrain (Comparing to BFG TA KO, which take ALOT of throttle to clear them). Get complimented on the look alot. They are very civilized on road, barley a whistle from them at 60 and can barely feel the luggyness in parking lots. Great tire.

Price: $132.29
Pros: Are great in marginal traction conditions
Cons: Needed over 3 oz to balance
Recommended? Yes

Comments: 245 R75-16, fit with 1.5 inches of lift. Howl a bit at 70mph but not intolerable. Gives an excuse to turn up the classic rock.
