Subwoofer box

Has anyone tried powered subwoofers under the driver or passenger seat? How well do they work? What brand did you get?

I had a box built into my backseat based of off Sirgcal’s design that was really cool. That’s a good option to consider

I had a Kenwood amp/subwoofer combo under my seat in my previous TJ. Was a big improvement and gave good bass. Nothing like an actual Subwoofer ported box etc.. would give.

Just curious, is your jeep right hand drive ?

My jack is under the passenger seat, right side.

I considered putting one under the seat, but couldnít find very many that would fit. So I mounted one to the tailgate. (Didnít want to mount it to the cargo floor area bc it would prevent me from stacking things flat).

It sounds good and is out of the way. I think it was about $140 on Amazon.

Sorry that was tired response this morning...I edited that. Thanks for catching it!

Nothing but crumbs of food from my kids under the drivers seat

Doesn't help that I have been assisting a fellow Aussie jeeper at my place, with a RHD TJ hahah

Post up what you find out. I am also interested in this. I have a tube style in the back and amp under the rear seat. I would love top free up some space in back but don't want to give my sub.

I tried to dig up pictures from my local Jeep club site but was 5 years ago.

This is all I got. Under the driver seat of my old 97 TJ. It was nice as it has a separate sub control for it, and it is removable. So if you do deep water crossings OR live in a sketchy hood, you can remove. I just used some extra strong velcro and it never moved on me.
