Yj Sub Box Plans for '91 YJ?

My son just bought a '91 YJ. I'd like to build/install a sub for him, and thought I'd see if there were some readily available plans for a box (behind rear seat) before I started designing one from scratch. Can anyone point me to one?

Thanks!

If your son's planning on running top-down at all, a down-firing box will do wonders for keeping the subs drier, and therefore, working.

I built a custom, down-firing box for 2 10" Infinity subs, and I've never had a problem with the box getting wet. However, if you're using MDF, make sure to seal, fiberglass, etc. to keep the MDF from getting wet and warping.

Take the plans for an angled box and add a couple of legs to get the bottom of the box off the floor. I used the enclosure calculator/plans from bcae1.com. Cut the holes in the bottom of the box, and add 2"+ legs to allow the subs to fire.

I don't have access to my sub box or my Photobucket at work, but if you search through this forum for this same topic, I've posted pictures before. I'll try to get you some measurements/pictures later tonight if I have the time.

Good luck, and let me know if I can be of more help.

EDIT: just saw your location. I'm about 3 hours north if you need specific help, I can be "leased" for beer.

I got a Jeep, it's lifted and it's got crap bolted to it.
