So in the fuse box under the hood on my 2015 Rubicon, there are a bunch of 4 pin gray rectangular relays. I noticed that they are not all with the print on the relay facing in the same direction. Does it matter which way they are plugged in?
Hate to be contradictory, especially being a newby here, but the relays can be inserted either way, and work regardless of which way they are inserted. Maybe there is some software determining which way they are inserted.
So it appears that rather than the two signal contacts being at one end of the rectangular relay and the output pins at the other, the input and outputs are at the diagonals across from each other. So it doesn’t matter from what I can see which way the 4 pin relay is inserted.
The relays can only be inserted one way. All the relays of the same size inside the PDC are the same and interchangeable. They cannot be inserted the wrong way.
Gone to Florida 7/19-7/28.
