Rip CD musics

I'm trying to rip CDs to mp3 files. There is an option for bit rate. 192 kbps is good for CD quality music. I can boost up to 320 Kbqs for best quality audio for music. Is it necessary to use 320 Kbqs format to rip a cd, or it is just wasting space for a memory card or a usb thumbdrive?

You will never notice the difference between 192k and 320 in a mobile environment. Generally 256k and above is indistinguishable from the source cd.

On a stock system maybe, just depends on how detailed of a system you have. I can totally tell the difference on mine. But, anything over 320k is debatable.
