Need ECU PCM for 97 TJ 2.5L manual

If anyone has a working one let me know how much you want for it. Also, one mechanic told me that any pcm from a 97 with a 2.5 and stick shift would work, and another told me it would have to have the same code written on it. Does anyone know which of these is true?

I think any PCM from a 97 2.5L with a stick will work, even one from an auto may work, I can't remember if the PCM and TCM need to communicate on the older jeeps. But I would just use one from a stick shift and you should be fine. Davey's Jeeps is probably a good place to find one.

This is from Details
PCM, ECU, ECM for 1997 Thru 1999 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L or 4.0L. It is very important to obtain original unit part number, this year requires that the part numbers be matched. Federal or California Emissions are determined by Vin Number and Part Number provided.

They run about 245$ new
