Looking for Radio part Cherokee 1997

Hi guys,

Mi name is Gabriel Nuno from Mexico
I own a beautiful Grand Cherokee 1997, and I just obtained the original radio that I was looking for.

Everything is connected ok, but im just missing one part that I cannot find anywhere, (see the image attached)
I think its the fuse of the radio,
By any chance do you know where can I buy it???

Thank u very much guys, greetings from Mexico

Just a suggestion, but post in the GC forum. Someone might have a pull out they might work a deal on.

That white connector socket is the CCD bus interface plug for the radio. There should be a small white 2 wire connector that mates to that in your 1997 ZJ Grand Cherokee. It communicates with the body module and helps with the steering wheel radio control functions along with memory and scan features. 1996-1998 ZJ Grand Cherokee radios have this connector.

One of the wires that connects to this port is color coded white with a black tracer stripe, Can't remember what the other one is but hopefully a previous owner didn't just hack the plugs off your dash harness for some P.O.S. aftermarket stereo install. Anyone installing an aftermarket head unit in any vehicle should ALWAYS buy a harness kit and never chop the wiring in a vehicle to put aftermarket electronics in it. Chances are the vehicle will way outlive the aftermarket radio anyways........

Ranger rick,
The other color is purple. I found it today whilst taking my stock radio out.
Would I be able to install a new head unit without using the CCD bus? I will probably later on end up getting a S.W.C. adapter for the newer head unit, would it mate up to the CCD bus or go a different route?
