how to remove wire pin from harness

i've watched so many videos and I must be doing something wrong because this damn wire will not come out. I have tools so can someone please tell me the proper way to remove this pin?

It looks you are attacking the right area. The small slot contains the locking tab but it's usually recessed somewhat deeply in the plastic. You just have to get the tool deep enough and probably have to play with it to depress the locking tab far enough to release.

in the very middle... or the left side of the copper piece... or that tiny tiny dot on the right side?

What does the back side of the connector look like?

X2. Some connectors have a little locking tab that you have to push down from the front, the orientation of the picture you showed, and pull the wire out the back.
Some require removing stuff off the back to pull it out in that direction.

Why are you trying to remove it? Why not just cut the wire that is attached to it? To remove it the right way you need a depinning tool although a small set of picks can sometimes get the job done.

well i tried and tried and it finally popped out. I actually do not know where exactly I pushed down but its out now. I could have cut it but I was mentally just scared about cutting a factor wire.
